His early roles involved building enterprise-grade platforms and integrating complex marketing and automation systems using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Through years of working in tech teams and actively participating in hiring processes, he gained first-hand insight into how developers search for jobs, what frustrates them, and what information they value most: transparent salary ranges, clear tech stacks, and direct application processes.
These insights led him in 2018 to co-found candidate-first job boards including SwissDevJobs, GermanTechJobs, and DevITJobs, all designed to put developer needs at the center by bringing transparency, making job criteria explicit, and simplifying the application experience.
