We are looking for a database engineer with the following qualifications and skills:
- Educated to a 5-year degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to manage software developments and databases.
- Strong experience in database management.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with ED-12/DO-178, DO-330, or DO-220 certification processes. Knowledge of other industry standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262) is a plus.
- Experience with configuration management processes and tools (e.g., SVN, Git, ClearCase).
- Fluent in French and English.
- Soft skills: strong analytical abilities, capacity for abstraction, eagerness to learn independently, and clear communication in diverse contexts.
- Additional experience in related domains is appreciated, including familiarity with model-based development (e.g., Scade, Simulink), continuous integration processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins), simulation/modeling, and agile methods (e.g., Scrum).

Responsibilities
As a database engineer, you will join a team working on all helicopters, developing interfaces for new or existing systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing our database architecture to ease integrations across our fleet, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Organizing updates with system architects to integrate new features into our products.
- Managing the backlog of activities performed by partners.
- Participating in process improvement, particularly to facilitate continuous integration of embedded systems.
- Performing updates associated with specific database features.
