Senior Software Engineer - Paris

- Bachelors degree required in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent (masters degree preferred)/- 3+ years of development experience in high level language/- Habitual learning of new things is a must/- Respect for Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and development best practices/- Understanding Agile Methodology and Principles is a must/- Familiarity with cross-cultural distributed teams spanning EMEA, APAC, and US/- Must be comfortable communicating with development teams, Product Owners in English/- High level of personal accountability, as evidenced by their commitment, resilience, ownership, and mindset toward continuous learning/- Continuous improvement - must be constantly growing ones craft, learning new tools and techniques, and sharing these within and among teams/- Understand that their role in the organization is broader than the details included in this job description/- Excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to work with diverse personality types/- Routine knowledge of software engineering such as git, unit testing, SQL fundamentals and Rest API are taken for granted/- Working knowledge of one of major cloud services providers such as AWS is a requirement/- Familiarity with cloud services design and development/- Knowledge of terraform or cloudformation scripting and ability to contribute to scripted infrastructure and CI/CD a big plus
