Requirements
Must:
- Proven expert-level background in Splunk Enterprise (architecture, deployment, and administration) with a degree in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of Splunk best practices (data onboarding, SPL, performance optimization) and proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and/or IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to unpack complex issues, paired with excellent communication skills to lead and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Relevant Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin) are a significant advantage.
- This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. French nationality is mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of robust Splunk solutions across diverse Airbus environments.
- Manage and fine-tune Splunk instances, ensuring highly efficient data ingestion, indexing, and search performance.
- Develop advanced dashboards, reports, and alerts to support security operations and compliance, while aiding incident response through expert Splunk-based forensic analysis and data retrieval.
- Act as a technical mentor for junior Splunk administrators and analysts, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate Splunk with our wider IT and security infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, contribute to the development of internal Splunk governance and standards, and ensure we stay ahead of the latest features and industry trends.
