Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communication infrastructure solutions
- Curious and motivated by evolving technologies in innovative environments
- Team player valuing collective intelligence
- Ability to define and design network architecture
- Mastery of network protocols
- Quality of service management and flow optimization
- Implementation of security solutions
- Knowledge of networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and routing protocols (IGP/EGP)
- Good understanding of SDN and SD-WAN architectures
- Familiar with Linux/IT environments
- Scripting languages knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.)
- Language skills: French (native or bilingual) and English (advanced)
Responsibilities
- Gather user requirements and translate them into technical constraints and requirements
- Create architecture for complex networks considering Airbuss strategic orientations
- Engage in all phases of a project from responding to tenders to deployment phases
- Participate in R&T/R&D and innovation topics to anticipate future technological needs and developments

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Network System Architect (f/m) to join our Satcom Network Infrastructures Delivery department based in Elancourt, France. You will be part of a dynamic team comprised of about twenty people tasked with designing and developing innovative networks (fixed, tactical, radio, satellite communication) primarily for defense purposes.
