Must:
As the successful candidate, you should demonstrate the following skills and competencies: - Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field. - VDI/VAD and Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain. - Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring integration within the IT landscape. - Good understanding of business requirements, customer service-oriented, and a focus on quality deliverables. - Component integration skills. - Experience in technology trend monitoring. - Ability to manage partners, subcontractors, stakeholders, and customer expectations. - Team spirit and good interpersonal relationships, as well as service-mindedness and accountability are key values for this position. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - French negotiation level. - English negotiation level. This role will involve regular travel within Europe, and you must be able to travel accordingly. A local contract is offered for this position, which may require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities. ---

Responsibilities

As a VDI Technology Specialist, you will contribute to both project and run activities as needed. Your key activities will include: - Acting as the VDI matter expert and advising on the delivery of technology and associated use cases for both projects and operations. - Collecting, researching, and suggesting solutions to address requirements. - Advising on the methodology and implementation approach. - Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition process to meet business requirements in the context of projects. - Supporting the delivery of proofs of concept (POCs). - Defining Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation for both infrastructure and services. - Serving as the Airbus Helicopters VDI referent in Airbus Group projects or cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology. - Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point. - Demonstrating the value of new VDI technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology usage. - Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology and monitoring VDI technology trends. - Guiding and supporting the selection of appropriate VDI technologies. - Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions. - Mentoring and developing team members by sharing VDI expertise and contributing to their skill development. ---
