Requirements
Must:
- Bac+4/5 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field (engineering school or university Masters)
- Solid foundation in Python (experience with data or backend projects is a plus)
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools
- Basic knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS preferred) and/or containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Any hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI, or observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Elasticsearch) is a strong plus
- Interest in data pipelines, NLP, or ML workflows is appreciated
- Autonomous, rigorous, and curious – you like to understand how things work end-to-end
- Good communication skills in English (working language)
- Comfortable in an international, multicultural team environment
- Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced startup context
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of our Airflow data pipelines (the backbone of our delivery infrastructure)
- Participate in production reliability initiatives for high-availability environments
- Support data quality processes aligned with strict medical and regulatory standards
- Contribute to workflows involving ML model training, NLP on biomedical literature, and large-scale document processing
- Help integrate AI/LLM APIs into existing pipeline architectures
- Deploy and maintain services on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Assist in cluster configuration, autoscaling, and namespace management
- Write and maintain Terraform modules for cloud resources (VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, etc.)
- Contribute to infrastructure versioning and GitOps practices
- Participate in environment parity between staging and production
- Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for data and ML services
- Automate testing, validation, and deployment workflows
- Improve pipeline reliability and speed through caching and parallelization strategies
- Instrument services with OpenTelemetry to collect traces, metrics, and logs
- Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for infrastructure and application observability
- Contribute to alerting rules and incident detection processes
