We are looking for a candidate with a Bac +5 degree and solid experience as a Mainframe System Engineer in an IT Production environment (more than 5 years). You should possess a team spirit, autonomy, analytical skills, rigor, and the ability to innovate.
Responsibilities
In a mainframe environment, which is at the core of the information system of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, you will join our "z/OS System Engineer" team within the Mainframe Systems and Networks domain. This team is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the group's hardware and systems infrastructure. Your main activities will include:
- Configuring hardware for IBM z servers and network components (HCD, IODF, SAN, etc.)
- Installing, configuring, tuning, and maintaining the operating system, subsystems, and third-party software (with or without SMP/E)
- Developing tools for system and configuration management: exits, Rexx, etc.
- Administering RACF with support to security teams, developing tools and reporting
- Participating in the evolution of hardware and software architecture and contributing to business projects
- Managing incidents, problems, and performance
- Providing user support
- Staying updated on technological advancements within your scope
