Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT or system network integration
- Strong understanding of R&D processes
- Ability to independently deploy and prototype various IT and network system environments (switches, routers, firewalls, servers, applications)
- Proficient in analyzing product behavior with generated network traffic
- Experience in developing automated tests
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, network security, VPNs, and firewalls
- Knowledge of Linux and FreeBSD ecosystems
- Proficient in scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell)
- Familiarity with CI, CT, and IaaS tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Phorges)
Responsibilities
- Test and validate software developments on firewalls
- Participate in defining functional aspects of security products
- Design and execute test plans based on functional specifications and associated requirements
- Maintain operational condition of test infrastructures (installation of servers, applications, network configuration)
- Deploy prototypes with various equipment to test developments under real customer conditions
- Develop automated tests to ensure product non-regression
- Diagnose failures in security solutions for correction (reproduction, system and network prototyping, analysis)
- Participate in improving performance of solutions through benchmarking and stress-testing
- Propose enhancements for product functionality and quality
- Assist Stormshield teams (technical support, pre-sales, developers) in reproducing and analyzing reported issues

We are searching for a QA Engineer specializing in Systems and Networks to join our dynamic and creative team at Stormshield Network Security (SNS) in Issy les Moulineaux (92). With up to three days of telecommuting available per week, we offer a collaborative environment focused on reinforcing the quality assurance of our major solutions. You will work on Stormshield’s firewall products within a Scrum team of 5-7 people, guided by experienced leaders.
