Must:
I am looking for candidates with a Bac +5 level of education and experience in a Mainframe environment. Knowledge of DB2 or another database software would be a plus, but I am open to considering beginners depending on the profile. I value individuals who are rigorous, passionate about technology, available, and possess the ability to innovate.
Responsibilities
As a system engineer, you will join the "Database" team within the "Mainframe" domain of Systems and Networks, working in a z/os environment across multiple sites. Your main tasks will include:
- Managing version changes and upgrades of DB2
- Overseeing and monitoring the parameterization of these subsystems
- Proposing architecture evolutions
- Handling incidents
- Monitoring performance
- Providing level 3 advice and support to development and production teams
- Participating in projects
- Staying abreast of technological advancements
