Avionics Systems Engineering Leader (m/f) - Vitrolles

We are excited to provide opportunities for Systems Engineering (SE) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) leaders to support end-to-end new Helicopter Systems development within Airbus Helicopters. Airbus Helicopters is undergoing a significant digital transformation, benefiting from the latest advances in new technologies, which is a major efficiency breakthrough across programs and product lifecycles. This transformation will be enabled through innovative concepts such as “Model Based Systems Engineering,” modular product lines, digital continuity, and concurrent co-development of the product, industrial setup, and service features. You will join a multifunctional and transnational team focused on Systems Engineering and MBSE deployment. You will be responsible for maturing and deploying a common SE/MBSE understanding and framework within Airbus Helicopters to ensure that we architect and develop our products effectively and efficiently. Your role will also involve supporting innovative concepts to capture customer needs, specifying and defining architecture from the early stage to detailed definitions, and assessing architecture systematically, particularly in terms of operability, safety, security, and performance. You will promote digitization by applying semantic web techniques to maintain good data continuity among product, process, methods, and tools based on ontology, and also advocate for the usage of AI in these disciplines (Advanced MBSE, MBE).
