System Development Responsible for AFDX Switch (H/F) - Marignane

As the System Design Responsible, your key responsibilities will include: - Defining the complete System Architecture of the AFDX Switch, including hardware/software partitioning, performance budgets (latency, throughput), and resource allocation. - Translating high-level system needs into detailed AFDX Network Requirements, covering Virtual Link (VL) definition, scheduling, traffic shaping, and redundancy management per ARINC 664 Part 7. - Writing the technical requirement specification for the switch and leading the technical management of the external supplier throughout the entire development lifecycle, from proposal to final qualification. - Assessing and challenging the suppliers detailed electronic design (schematics, FPGA/SoC integration, high-speed signaling) to ensure deterministic, low-latency network performance. - Defining installation constraints and verifying the compatibility of electronic and network interfaces between the switch and other helicopter systems. - Managing interfaces with internal specialists (e.g., environmental qualification, safety, security) to ensure the design meets all requirements (e.g., DO-160). - Defining the system-level Integration and Verification Plan (IVP) and providing all technical justifications required for Airworthiness Certification. - Providing expert technical support during helicopter integration, ground/flight tests, and for the Final Assembly Line.
