System Development Responsible for AFDX Switch (H/F) - Plan-de-Cuques

In this role, you will define the complete System Architecture of the AFDX Switch, including hardware/software partitioning, performance budgets (latency, throughput), and resource allocation. You will translate high-level system needs into detailed AFDX Network Requirements, addressing Virtual Link (VL) definition, scheduling, traffic shaping, and redundancy management according to ARINC 664 Part 7. You will also be responsible for writing the technical requirement specification for the switch and leading the technical management of the external supplier throughout the entire development lifecycle, from proposal to final qualification. As part of your duties, you will assess and challenge the suppliers detailed electronic design to ensure deterministic, low-latency network performance. Further responsibilities include defining installation constraints and verifying the compatibility of electronic and network interfaces between the switch and other helicopter systems. Managing interfaces with internal specialists to ensure design compliance with requirements while defining the system-level Integration and Verification Plan (IVP) will be part of your role. Finally, you will provide expert technical support during helicopter integration, ground/flight tests, and for the Final Assembly Line.
