Exigences
Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory; Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cybersecurity) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring vision and integration into the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service-oriented, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Component integration and technology trend monitoring.
- Experience with partner and subcontractor management, stakeholder management, and understanding customer expectations and needs.
- Team spirit, good relationships, service-mindedness, and accountability are key values for this position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French and English at a negotiation level.
- This role will require regular travel in Europe and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilités
As the VDI Technology Specialist, I will:
- Act as the VDI subject matter expert and advise on the delivery of technology and associated use cases for both projects and operations.
- Collect, research, and propose solutions to address requirements.
- Advise on methodology and implementation approaches.
- Utilize deep transferable knowledge of VDI, new and emerging technologies, including the ability to autonomously develop proofs of concept and contribute to future IT strategies and standards.
- Deliver VDI/VAD solution designs and support solution architects during project definition.
- Support the delivery of proofs of concept.
- Define the Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation for both infrastructure and services.
- Serve as the VDI referent for Airbus Helicopters, participating in Group projects and cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Manage and resolve complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise.
- Establish the value of VDI new technologies to form business cases and update company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology.
- Monitor VDI technology and support teams in applying it within the Airbus Environment.
- Guide and support the selection of appropriate VDI technologies.
- Monitor VDI technological trends and use this knowledge to enhance business solutions and competitive edge.
- Make recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentor and develop team members by sharing VDI expertise and contributing to their skill development.
