Exigences
Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory; Omnissa Horizon is a plus) with confirmed experience in this domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cybersecurity) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and focus on quality deliverables.
- Skills in Component Integration, Technology Trend Monitoring, Partner & Subcontractor Management, stakeholder management, and understanding customer expectations and needs.
- Team spirit, good relationship-building, service-mindedness, and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- French and English negotiation level.
- Willingness to travel regularly in Europe.
- Eligibility for a security clearance.
Responsabilités
In this role, you will act as the VDI Subject Matter Expert, advising on the delivery of VDI technology and its associated use cases for both Projects and Run. Your key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects in defining VDI/VAD solutions to meet business requirements.
- Assisting in the delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Defining the technological orientation of Airbus Helicopters VDI both for infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the VDI referent for Airbus Helicopters, participating in cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving the most complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD.
- Proving the value of new VDI technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies.
- Monitoring VDI technology, supporting teams in its application, and guiding technology selection.
- Keeping track of VDI technological trends to enhance business competitiveness.
- Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members by sharing VDI expertise.
