Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with experience of 5 to 10 years in an IT operational environment, ensuring the vision and integration in the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service oriented, and focused on quality deliverables.
- Component Integration.
- Technology Trend Monitoring.
- Partner & Subcontractor Management, stakeholders Management, Customer expectations & needs.
- Team spirit and good relationships, as well as service-mindedness and accountability, are key values for this job position.
- Analyzing and problem-solving skills.
- French negotiation level.
- English negotiation level.
This role will involve some regular traveling in Europe, and as such, you will need to be able to travel accordingly.
This position is offered on a local contract only and will require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Responsabilités
As the VDI Technology Specialist, I will contribute to both projects and run activities as needed to advise and deliver VDI technology, working closely with the EE solution architect and the VDI product manager. My key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition of the VDI/VAD solution to address business requirements in the context of projects.
- Supporting in the delivery of POCs.
- Defining the Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation axes for both infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the Airbus Helicopters VDI reference, participating in Airbus Group projects or any cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving the most complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise (Marignane and Donauworth Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions).
- Proving the value of VDI new technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding the use of VDI technology.
- Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology.
- Monitoring VDI technology and supporting teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment.
- Guiding and supporting the selection of appropriate VDI technologies.
- Monitoring VDI technological trends and using this knowledge to bring solutions to business to enhance their competitive edge.
- Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members, sharing VDI expertise, and contributing to their skill development.
