Embedded Navigation Software Engineer (m/f) - La Salvetat-Saint-Gilles

- Proven experience with Flight Management System (FMS) architectures and concepts. - Deep understanding of 3D Trajectory Calculation, Prediction, and Guidance implementation challenges. - Practical experience manipulating geometrical reference frames (e.g., WGS84, ECEF, Mercator) in an embedded context. - Experience implementing and verifying graph traversal algorithms used in route/pathfinding optimization. - Expertise with avionics database formats (e.g., Terrain, Navigation and Performance). - Knowledge of database generation processes and efficient, low-level data access methods from embedded code. - Experience in Critical Real-Time embedded software development with the DO-178C certification process (DAL A to E). - Mastery of the C language (C99/C11 standards) for low-level embedded development, including memory and real-time optimization. - Familiarity with software engineering methods and tools (standard DevOps environment in a high-integrity setting). - Knowledge of formal verification or model checking techniques is a plus. - Prior experience defining and monitoring subcontracted software activities is an asset. - Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Open mindset and analytical approach to problem-solving. - Advanced level of English and French is required.
