Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Strong experience in Avionics Datalink with in-depth knowledge and practical experience of ATN and ACARS protocols and architectures.
- Mastery of Data Serialization techniques, notably ASN.1 (Abstract Syntax Notation One), with experience in processing complex ATC messages (e.g., CPDLC Protocol Data Units - PDUs).
- Familiarity with technical specifications: ARINC 618 and ARINC 619.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development with proven familiarity with the DO-178C certification process.
- Mastery of the C language for embedded development, including optimization techniques for memory and real-time performance.
- Solid experience with Software Engineering practices and tools (including version control, continuous integration, and standard DEVOPS workflows) in a high-integrity development setting.
- Open mindset, good communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
- An advanced level of English and French is required.
- This position requires a security clearance or the eligibility to obtain one.
Responsabilités
- Actively drive and participate in the detailed design, coding, and verification of real-time software modules for Datalink systems.
- Ensure compliance with communication standards (ATN, ACARS, CPDLC).
- Use ASN.1 to define, encode, and decode complex ATC messages.
- Develop embedded real-time software from high-level specification analysis to integration and validation on the hardware.
- Ensure end-to-end integration of software with target hardware and test benches, validating performance and reliability.
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Specialist on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization (ASN.1) to mentor junior team members.
- Manage subcontracted activities and deliverables following subcontracting management rules.
- Follow schedules, budgets, and quality standards while managing activities.
- Contribute to improving departmental performance.
