We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development, demonstrating familiarity with the DO-178C certification process. You should have strong expertise in Avionics Datalink, including in-depth knowledge of ATN and ACARS protocols, mastery of Data Serialization techniques (particularly ASN.1), and hands-on experience processing complex ATC messages (such as CPDLC Protocol Data Units). Proficiency in the C programming language for embedded development, alongside a solid grasp of Software Engineering practices and tools, is essential. An open mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also required. Additionally, familiarity with security concepts related to Air-Ground data link communications and an advanced level of English and French will be advantageous.

Responsabilités
As a Senior Embedded Software Development Engineer, your main responsibilities will include actively driving and participating in the design, coding, and verification (up to DAL C) of real-time software modules for our Datalink systems. You will work on defining, following up, and receiving subcontracted activities while ensuring compliance with defined management rules. You will also collaborate on improving departmental performance and contribute to integrating software with target hardware and advanced test benches, ensuring the reliability of communications. Mentorship opportunities will be available as you act as the technical Subject Matter Specialist on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization (ASN.1), helping to enhance the teams technical expertise.
