Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Practical mastery of ATN and ACARS protocols, including detailed knowledge of ARINC 618 and ARINC 619 specifications.
- Practical experience with Data Serialization (ASN.1) for complex message processing, specifically CPDLC PDUs.
- Strong experience in Avionics Datalink with in-depth knowledge and practical experience with ATN and ACARS protocols and architectures.
- Mastery of Data Serialization techniques, notably ASN.1, and experience processing complex ATC messages (e.g., CPDLC Protocol Data Units).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development with proven familiarity with the DO-178C certification process.
- Mastery of the C language for embedded development, including optimization techniques for memory and real-time performance.
- Solid experience with Software Engineering practices and tools in a high-integrity development setting.
- Open mind-set, good communication skills, and good team working.
- Advanced level of English and French required.
- Understanding of embedded security challenges related to Air-Ground data link communications is a plus.
- Familiarity with avionics security standards objectives (ED-202A /DO326A & ED-203A/DO356A) is an asset.
Responsabilités
- Actively drive and participate in the detailed design, coding, and verification of real-time software modules for Datalink systems.
- Develop embedded real-time software following the development process from high-level specification analysis to integration and validation on definitive hardware.
- Ensure end-to-end integration of the software with the target hardware and advanced test benches, validating real-time performance and reliability of communications.
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Specialist on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization to mentor junior profiles within the team.
- Handle related support activities including failure report analysis and responding to technical requests.
- Improve processes; bring new design solutions and technologies.
- Define and follow up on subcontracted activities and deliverables in accordance with management rules.
- Manage activities according to expected schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Participate in the overall improvement of Department performance.
