Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Strong experience in Avionics Datalink with in-depth knowledge and practical experience of ATN and ACARS protocols and architectures.
- Mastery of Data Serialization techniques, particularly ASN.1, with experience in processing complex ATC messages (e.g., CPDLC Protocol Data Units - PDUs).
- Familiarity with technical specifications ARINC 618 and ARINC 619.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development with proven familiarity with the DO-178C certification process.
- Proficient in C language for embedded development, including optimization techniques for memory and real-time performance.
- Solid experience with Software Engineering practices and tools (e.g. version control, continuous integration, standard DEVOPS workflows) in a high-integrity development setting.
- Open mindset, good communication skills, and strong teamwork abilities.
- Advanced level of English and French is required.
- This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
Responsabilités
- Actively drive and participate in the design, coding, and verification of real-time software modules for Datalink systems.
- Develop embedded real-time software, following the development process from high-level specification analysis to integration and validation on the definitive hardware.
- Ensure end-to-end integration of software with target hardware and advanced test benches, validating the real-time performance and reliability of communications.
- Serve as the technical Subject Matter Specialist on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization to mentor junior team members.
- Provide support activities such as failure report analysis and technical request responses.
- Improve the ways of working by introducing new design solutions and technologies.
- Define, follow up, and receipt subcontracted activities and deliverables in line with management rules.
- Manage activities according to expected schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of departmental performance.
