Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development with proven familiarity with the DO-178C certification process
- Strong experience in Avionics Datalink, with in-depth knowledge and practical experience of ATN and ACARS protocols
- Mastery of Data Serialization techniques, notably ASN.1, and experience processing complex ATC messages (e.g., CPDLC Protocol Data Units - PDUs)
- Familiarity with technical specifications: ARINC 618 and ARINC 619
- Mastery of the C language for embedded development, including optimization techniques for memory and real-time performance
- Solid experience with Software Engineering practices and tools in a high-integrity development setting (including version control, continuous integration, and standard DEVOPS workflows)
- Open mindset, good communication skills, and ability to work well in a team
- Advanced level of English and French required
- Understanding of security challenges related to Air-Ground data link communications is an asset
- Familiarity with avionics security standards (ED-202A /DO326A & ED-203A/DO356A) is a plus
Responsabilités
- Drive and participate in the detailed design, coding, and verification of real-time software modules for Datalink systems
- Develop embedded real-time software following high-level specification analysis, integration, and validation on definitive hardware
- Ensure end-to-end integration of software with target hardware and advanced test benches, validating real-time performance and reliability of communications
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Specialist on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization (ASN.1), mentoring junior team members
- Support activities including failure report analysis and responding to technical requests
- Improve ways of working by introducing new design solutions and technologies
- Define, follow-up, and review subcontracted activities and deliverables in compliance with management rules
- Manage activities following expected schedule, budget, and quality
- Participate in the improvement of the departments performance
