Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Real-Time Software Development
- Proven familiarity with the DO-178C certification process
- Mastery of the C language for embedded development, including optimization techniques for memory and real-time performance
- Strong experience in Avionics Datalink with in-depth knowledge of ATN and ACARS protocols
- Familiarity with technical specifications: ARINC 618 and ARINC 619
- Solid experience with Software Engineering practices and tools in a high-integrity development setting
- Open mindset, good communication skills, and ability to work well in a team
- Advanced level of English and French required
- Security clearance eligibility required
Additional assets:
- Understanding of security challenges related to Air-Ground data link communications
- Familiarity with avionics security standards (ED-202A/DO326A & ED-203A/DO356A)
Responsabilités
- Drive and participate in the detailed design, coding, and verification of real-time software modules for Datalink systems
- Ensure full compliance with communication standards (ATN, ACARS, CPDLC)
- Develop embedded real-time software following the development process from analysis to validation on definitive hardware
- Ensure end-to-end integration of the software with the target hardware and advanced test benches
- Validate the real-time performance and reliability of communications
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert on ATN/ACARS protocols and Data Serialization (ASN.1)
- Mentor junior profiles within the team and ensure the sustainability of technical know-how
- Manage support activities, including failure report analysis and answering technical requests
- Improve ways of working and bring new design solutions and technologies
- Define, follow-up, and receipt subcontracted activities and deliverables
- Manage activities following scheduled timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
- Participate in the improvement of departmental performance
