Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Masters degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, backend development
- Strong Python expertise and experience with complex, production-grade codebases
- Comfortable with FastAPI, APIs, Docker and SQL
- Hands-on experience with web scraping / crawling at scale and multiple data sources
- Knowledge of designing resilient systems with proper error handling and monitoring
- Experience working with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar)
- Understanding of data quality challenges (deduplication, normalization, validation)
- Ability to dig deep into problems, beyond surface-level data issues
- Fluent in English and French (Spanish or Italian is a strong plus)
Responsabilités
- Design, build and operate key backend and data components
- Maintain and develop the Market Observer, our multi-country market data collection platform
- Design and implement internal web crawlers for automotive listing websites across Europe
- Integrate and manage third-party data providers, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Build and maintain deduplication & normalization pipelines to guarantee high-quality pricing data
- Implement and operate event-driven architectures using message queues for asynchronous processing
- Ensure system resilience, preventing data collection failures from impacting pricing production
- Monitor, troubleshoot and secure production systems to avoid pricing disruptions
