Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent
- 10+ year experience in on-premises System Administration, ideally with a devops culture
- Fluent in French and English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of infrastructures design and implementations
- Knowledge about the Azure public cloud
- Management of a heterogeneous fleet of ~1000 servers all over the world
- Server room/Datacenter good practices
- Advanced knowledge/Certification of Windows Server (2)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Management of a Virtualization Platform: VMWare ESX, Proxmox
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Monitoring management skills: SLO/SLA, define metrics to measure the impact of a new feature
- Automation: IAC, reproducibility, GitHub Enterprise
- Veeam Backup management
- Strong soft skills: Be Bold, Adaptable, Positive, Ingenious & Efficient
- Good organizational skills managing projects of varying length & complexity
- User centric approach: pedagogy, communication, wants to help
- Curiosity and initiative in a collaborative and challenging environment
Responsabilités
- Build and operate systems to sustain and accelerate our business globally
- Install and configure internal servers locally and remotely
- Proactively manage and maintain physical servers, hypervisors, monitoring and backups
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
- Implement tools and processes for deployment and industrialization to ensure sustainability
- Investigate and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Define and document best practices and support procedures
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
- Support business solution vendors in deploying or upgrading applications hosted on servers
- Assist with hardware and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations
- Mentor and cross-train team members on existing and new technologies
- Interact with customers and staff at the technical level as required
