Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Masters Degree / Engineering Degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Agronomy or Plant Breeding
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Plant Breeding
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
- Broad knowledge of plant breeding, preferably sunflower genetics
- Solid skills in statistical analysis and quantitative genetics
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong decision making, prioritization, and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the sunflower market for the geographical area
- Broad knowledge of new breeding technologies
Responsabilités
- Review and propose line breeding scheme
- Propose molecular breeding strategy
- Propose nursery strategy: where, what, volume...
- Contribute to the leadership of Soltis working group dedicated to line breeding
- Active participation in the definition and management of line breeding budget
- Define KPIs to monitor the performance of our line breeding program
- Implement the line breeding scheme
- Participate in the line selection and advancement decisions
- Active participation in collaborations
- Drive results by developing a proactive and results-oriented approach
- Think and act strategically within a matricial organization
- Focus on customers by delivering elite lines responding to Soltis breeding programs needs

In the role of Line Breeder, you will play a crucial part in shaping and executing our breeding strategy in collaboration with program leaders, driving innovation and performance in our breeding pipelines.
