As the successful candidate, I expect you to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring vision and integration within the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service-oriented, and focused on quality deliverables.
- Component Integration.
- Technology Trend Monitoring.
- Partner & Subcontractor Management, stakeholder Management, and understanding of customer expectations & needs.
- Team spirit and good relationships, along with service-mindedness and accountability.
- Analyze and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French and English at a negotiation level.
This role will involve some regular travel within Europe, and you should be able to travel accordingly.

Responsabilités
As the VDI Technology Specialist, you will contribute to both projects and operational activities when there is a need to advise and deliver VDI technology, working closely with the Extended Enterprise solution architect and the VDI product manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition of the VDI/VAD solution to address business requirements in the framework of projects.
- Supporting the delivery of POCs.
- Defining the technological orientation axes of both infrastructure and services related to Airbus Helicopters VDI.
- Acting as the VDI referent for Airbus Helicopters, participating in Airbus Group projects or any cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise (Marignane and Donauworth Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions).
- Proving the value of new VDI technologies to establish a business case and updating company guidelines and policies regarding the use of VDI technology.
- Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology.
- Monitoring VDI technology and supporting teams in applying these within the Airbus Environment.
- Guiding and supporting the selection of appropriate VDI technologies.
- Monitoring technological trends and using this knowledge to provide solutions to enhance business competitiveness.
- Making recommendations for buy vs. build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members by sharing VDI expertise and contributing to their skill development.
