Exigences
Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field.
- Competence in VDI/VAD & Netscaler (Citrix mandatory; Omnissa Horizon is a plus) with confirmed experience in this domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Skills in Component Integration, Technology Trend Monitoring, Partner & Subcontractor Management, and stakeholders management.
- Team spirit and good relationships, along with service-mindedness and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French and English at a negotiation level.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
- Eligibility for security clearance by the recognized authorities.
Responsabilités
In your role as the VDI Technology Specialist, you will:
- Act as the VDI matter expert, advising on the delivery of this technology and its associated use cases for both Projects and Run.
- Collect, research, and suggest solutions to address requirements.
- Advise on the methodology and implementation approach.
- Develop proof of concepts (POCs) autonomously and contribute to future IT strategies and standards.
- Deliver VDI/VAD solution designs and support solution architects during project definition.
- Define the Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation for both infrastructure and services.
- Serve as the ultimate escalation point for resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD.
- Prove the value of new VDI technologies and update company guidelines regarding VDI technology.
- Monitor VDI technologies and support teams in applying them within the Airbus environment.
- Guide the selection of appropriate VDI technologies and monitor technological trends to enhance competitive advantage.
- Make recommendations for buy vs. build decisions.
- Mentor and develop team members while sharing VDI expertise.
