As the successful candidate, I expect you to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory; Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- A strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring vision and integration into the IT landscape.
- A good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Component integration skills.
- Technology trend monitoring abilities.
- Experience in partner & subcontractor management, stakeholder management, and understanding customer expectations and needs.
- Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills, with accountability and service-mindedness being key values for this position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French and English at the negotiation level.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

Responsabilités
In this role, I would have you act as the VDI subject matter expert, advising on the delivery of this technology and associated use cases for both projects and operations. Your key activities would include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects in defining the VDI/VAD solution to meet business requirements in projects.
- Supporting the delivery of Proof of Concepts (POC).
- Defining the technological orientation axes for Airbus Helicopters in terms of both infrastructure and services related to VDI.
- Acting as the VDI referent for Airbus Helicopters and participating in Airbus Group projects or cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD and providing in-depth expertise.
- Proving the value of new VDI technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology use.
- Monitoring VDI technology trends and using this knowledge to enhance business competitiveness, while making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members by sharing VDI expertise and contributing to their skill development.
