Exigences
Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, I expect you to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) with confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring vision and integration within the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer-service-oriented mindset, and focus on quality deliverables.
- Component integration skills.
- Technology trend monitoring capabilities.
- Experience in partner and subcontractor management, stakeholder management, and understanding customer expectations and needs.
- Team spirit, good relationship-building skills, and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- French negotiation level.
- English negotiation level.
Regular travel in Europe will be required for this role.
Responsabilités
As a VDI Technology Specialist, I look for you to contribute to both projects and run activities, advising and delivering VDI technology while working closely with the EE solution architect and the VDI product manager. Your key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition of the VDI/VAD solution to meet business requirements in project frameworks.
- Supporting the delivery of POCs (Proofs of Concept).
- Defining Airbus Helicopters’ VDI technological orientation for both infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the Airbus Helicopters VDI referent, participating in Airbus Group projects or any cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions.
- Proving the value of new VDI technologies to establish a business case and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology use.
- Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology and supporting teams in applying these solutions within the Airbus environment.
- Guiding the selection of appropriate VDI technologies and monitoring technological trends to enhance business competitiveness.
- Making recommendations on buy versus build decisions and mentoring team members by sharing VDI expertise.
