Obligatoire:
As a successful candidate, I expect you to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an operational IT environment.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service oriented, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Component integration skills.
- Technology trend monitoring abilities.
- Partner & subcontractor management, understanding of stakeholders, and customer expectations & needs.
- Team spirit, good relationships, service-mindedness, and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- French negotiation level.
- English negotiation level.
- Willingness to travel regularly in Europe.
Responsabilités
In your role as a VDI Technology Specialist, you will be contributing to both projects and operational activities, advising and delivering VDI technology. Your key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition of VDI/VAD solutions based on business requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of POCs.
- Defining Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation axes for both infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the VDI referent, participating in Airbus Group projects or cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise.
- Proving the value of new VDI technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology use.
- Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology.
- Monitoring VDI technology and assisting teams in applying it within the Airbus environment.
- Guiding the selection of appropriate VDI technologies.
- Monitoring technological trends and using this knowledge to provide solutions that enhance competitive edges for businesses.
- Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members by sharing VDI expertise.
