Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, I expect you to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring the vision and integration on the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and focus on quality deliverables.
- Strong skills in Component Integration, Technology Trend Monitoring, Partner & Subcontractor Management, and stakeholder/customer expectations management.
- Team spirit, good relationships, service-mindedness, and accountability are key values for this job position.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation level proficiency in French and English.
- Willingness to travel regularly in Europe as needed.
- This position will require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Responsabilités
As the VDI Technology Specialist, I want you to contribute to both project and run activities, advising and delivering VDI technology while closely collaborating with the EE solution architect and VDI product manager. Your key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solution design and supporting solution architects during the definition of VDI/VAD solutions to address business requirements.
- Assisting in the delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Defining the Airbus Helicopters VDI technological orientation axes of both infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the VDI reference within Airbus Helicopters and participating in group projects or cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD and serving as the ultimate escalation point, providing in-depth expertise on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions.
- Proving the value of VDI new technologies to establish the business case and update company guidelines and policies regarding the use of VDI technology.
- Advising on specific VDI technology topics and monitoring VDI trends to enhance competitive edge and provide solutions for business.
- Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring team members and sharing VDI expertise to contribute to their skill development.
