Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix mandatory, Omnissa Horizon is a plus) and confirmed experience in this expertise domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment ensuring integration within the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Component Integration, Technology Trend Monitoring, Partner & Subcontractor Management, and stakeholders Management.
- A strong team spirit and good relationships, with service-mindedness and accountability being key values for this position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- French negotiation level and English negotiation level.
- Ability to travel regularly within Europe.
- Eligibility for a security clearance as recognized by relevant authorities.

Responsabilités
As the VDI Technology Specialist, I want you to contribute to both project and run activities, advising and delivering VDI technology while closely collaborating with the EE solution architect and the VDI product manager. Your key activities will include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solutions design and supporting solution architects during the definition of the VDI/VAD solution to address business requirements in the context of projects.
- Supporting the delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Defining Airbus Helicopters’ VDI technological orientation axes for both infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the VDI referent for Airbus Helicopters, participating in Airbus Group projects and any cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents on VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise.
- Proving the value of VDI new technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology use.
- Monitoring VDI technology and collaborating with teams to apply these within the Airbus environment.
- Making recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring team members and contributing to their skill development by sharing VDI expertise.
