Exigences
Obligatoire:
As the successful candidate, you should demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
- Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- VDI/VAD & Netscaler competencies (Citrix is mandatory; Omnissa Horizon is a plus) with confirmed experience in this domain.
- Strong IT background (operating systems, network, cyber security) with 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT operational environment, ensuring vision and integration within the IT landscape.
- Good understanding of business requirements, customer service orientation, and a focus on quality deliverables.
- Skills in component integration and technology trend monitoring.
- Experience in partner & subcontractor management, stakeholder management, and understanding customer expectations & needs.
- Team spirit, good relationships, service-mindedness, and accountability are key values for this position.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French and English at a negotiation level.
This role may involve regular travel in Europe, so you should be able to travel accordingly. You must also be eligible for security clearance as required.

Responsabilités
As a VDI Technology Specialist, I contribute to both project and run activities, advising and delivering VDI technology while working closely with the Extended Enterprise solution architect and the VDI product manager. My key activities include:
- Delivering VDI/VAD solution design and supporting solution architects during the definition of VDI/VAD solutions to meet business requirements in project frameworks.
- Supporting the delivery of POCs (Proof of Concepts).
- Defining the technological orientation axes for Airbus Helicopters VDI, both for infrastructure and services.
- Acting as the Airbus Helicopters VDI referent, participating in Airbus Group projects and cross-divisional initiatives involving VDI technology.
- Managing and resolving complex technical incidents in VDI/VAD, serving as the ultimate escalation point and providing in-depth expertise.
- Demonstrating the value of new VDI technologies to establish business cases and updating company guidelines and policies regarding VDI technology use.
- Advising on specific topics related to VDI technology.
- Monitoring VDI technology and supporting teams in applying it within the Airbus environment.
- Guiding and supporting the selection of appropriate VDI technologies.
- Keeping abreast of VDI technological trends to bring innovative solutions that enhance competitive edge.
- Making recommendations regarding buy versus build decisions.
- Mentoring and developing team members, sharing VDI expertise, and contributing to their skill development.
